Lower Trent Conservation

In response to requests from local communities, Lower Trent Conservation was formed in 1968 and has played an important role in providing conservation services to help protect & manage the local natural environment.

Lower Trent Conservation’s resource management program is based on several watersheds which encompass 2,121 square kilometres. The jurisdiction of Lower Trent Conservation includes the lower Trent River watershed and a number of smaller watersheds draining into Lake Ontario and the Bay of Quinte.
