Join Trees Ontario and partners to celebrate the National Forest Week held September 23-29, 2012.
Trees Ontario and its partners are excited to celebrate National Forest Week taking place September 23-29, 2012. This annual event is intended to encourage Canadians to learn more about their forest heritage and to raise awareness about the importance of managing Canada’s forests to meet present and future needs.
In celebration of this year’s theme, Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities, Trees Ontario will support a variety of public events held in local communities across the province.
In partnership with the Ontario Forestry Association, Trees Ontario will celebrate each day of the National Forest Week with a unique theme. Check out our events calendar for an activity near you.
