Registration Open for Ontario Tree Marker Training Program
Posted: May 1, 2018
The Ontario Tree Marker Training program supports forestry professionals making ‘cut and leave’ decisions for individual trees. Tree markers ensure that trees are harvested in a manner that maintains the integrity of forest ecosystems. Certification is required for those implementing harvesting decisions on Crown Land.
The course is delivered through a partnership between Forests Ontario and the Canadian Institute of Forestry. Level 1 (more details below) is currently open to registration.
Anyone wishing to take this course must register online at: https://learningcompass.learnflex.net.
