Trees Ontario and Ontario Forestry Association Merge to enhance capacity and programs

Earlier this Spring, Trees Ontario and the Ontario Forestry Associations (OFA), two not-for-profits, officially merged to create Forests Ontario, an organization dedicated to the renewal and stewardship of Ontario’s forests. Previously, Trees Ontario committed itself to the regreening of Ontario through three planting efforts on private rural lands and in urban areas, while the OFA supported the stewardship of the forest ecosystems. As a combined organization, Forests Ontario and its partners will continue to offer a broad suite of programs and services as well as create a stronger public presence advocating for abundant, healthy and sustainable forests.
